I, for the second time apologize for being late with my weekly update... But for the record: This week was actually exciting. I had my first school concert and my host mom came to watch! It was really nice and we had fika too. I enjoyed it a lot and can't wait for the next one. On friday I met up with Niels (YFU Belgium) and Louise (YFU France) and we hung out in Södermalm the "cool" island in Stockholm. Sadly i had almost 2 hours to get home because they had problems with the tunnelbana.

But on the weekend it was really nice because we went to the Summer stuga! Now the reason we went there was because my host parents sold it. So we went there a last time to enjoy the beautiful swedish nature. I will add some pictures here and in the photo album under "My adventures"

The summer stuga is in Ockelbo, about 2 hours and 15 minutes from Stockholm. It is very small and full of beautiful fields, forests and lakes. The summer stuga had a traditional swedish kitchen and it was quite big! Some friends of my host fam came over and we had a nice Fika. I Know you have probably already heard fika in my blog so many times but it really is a tradition. Even more since today, Tuesday the 4 October is kannelbullarsdag! (Cinnamon Roll day!) as you may know: Kanelbullar is also a big part of Fika.

But back to the Summer stuga.

My siblings and I played alot with Bruno our dog, and I even fell of a swing! We had pizza on Saturday night, and on Sunday we went to wij trädgårdar which is a famous garden full of flowers. Sadly it was closed and we couldn't do anything. But we then went to Ockelbo center to go for Fika. My host parents were cleaning out the summer stuga in that time. Only to find out: Everything was closed! We had to go to ICA (Kind of like tesco/Coop/Migros) and settle for Fika there. It was not long until we had to say goodbye to the summer stuga. So thats why I couldn't update on Sunday!

Vi ses och hej då
