Höstlov och Karlstad

Hej hur är läget?

The break is over and I'm updating today to tell you about yesterdays piano rehearsal and my trip to Karlstad.

The piano rehearsal went well and in the future we will be playing concerts in Gävle, north sweden. But let's start at the beginning of höstlov.

Since my host parents were working we didn't do a trip or similar which was okay since I still had a good höstlov.

I mainly hung out with friends, went skating, to mall of scandinavia, went to the cinema with friends... the list goes on. I also tried to learn the 20 swedish songs by heart for the upcoming concert. I had loads of fun and I also loved sleeping in. The only thing I'm missing in switzerland is the 2 week break instead of a one week break.

Weather update: The snow is here! And its getting dark so early!

Language update: Going good but sometimes I get confused with all the languages in my head. I recently went to the shops to get a envelope and I completely blacked out. I had to draw it on a piece of paper!

Another big thing: I will come to switzerland with my schoolchoir to perform and show a traditional lucia. You are very welcome to come and watch if your in switzerland at that time. I don't have many infos yet but they will follow. All I know its 14 december in Lugano.

If I have mentioned this allready I'm sorry haha.

So now about my Karlstad trip: It was super fun! I met many other exchange students and locals. We went for brunch and played games at saturday evening with close friends of Martin (YFU). Karlstad is about 2.30 hours by train from stockholm. It is a very cute city and had nice fika places! It definitely isn't my last time there.
